My husband and I reached out to over half a dozen different companies to replace our 30 year old wood deck with Trex, and ultimately we decided to move forward with Prime Decks and it was a wonderful experience. Nick was very thorough and committed to making sure everything was completed to perfection. The crew was here every day from sun up to sun down and worked with incredible skill and speed. Occasionally we encountered unforseen issues, as you'd expect with any project, and Nick and Renaldo went above and beyond to ensure creative solutions to meet the goal.There was a time we had considered trying to tackle the work ourselves, but watching these men work their magic, it's clear what took them a couple of weeks would've easily taken us a year! I would highly recommend Prime Decks and would certainly use them again for any building projects.

Prime Decks did a wonderful job replacing our old deck. The entire process was quick and painless and they installed a beautiful deck that met all of our requirements. Company is very responsive to inquiries and was great to work with. Highly recommend Prime Decks based on our experience.

Jake from Prime Decks was so great to work with on our deck project. He is responsive and took the time to make sure we were completely happy every step of the way. He was transparent on every aspect and actually listened to our ideas. We got many estimates and none were as thorough as Jake's. Every single question we had was answered almost immediately. Their work is also impeccable. I could not recommend Prime Decks enough!

If I could give Prime Decks more than 5 stars I would. The final deck they built me was absolutely gorgeous.I actually drew up plans for a covered deck addition to my DC home back in the fall of 2020. I went through the permitting process with a different company and ended up having to release that contractor. It took 3.5 years with the original company and DCRA.I hired Prime Deck after I fired the first contractor. Needless to say I had been through a lot with the project at that point but Jake and his team really supercharged the project and finally delivered far more than I imagined 3 years ago when I designed the project.The quality of work was impeccable, the communication clear, and in they were very timely. I can't say enough good things about this company. They know what they are doing. They took my idea and turned it into something amazing. Here are just a few pictures:

Prime Deck did an amazing job bringing our old deck back to life. They replaced the old railings and staircase with high quality materials and it looks amazing! We worked with Jake who provided us with detailed plans, a great price, and excellent communication throughout the process. The team arrived early each day, were very productive and very courteous. My husband and I live in Oakton and a deck renovation has been on our to-do list since we moved in 3 years ago. My husband’s an engineer and I work in finance so we’re thorough when evaluating contractors - to say the least! We lined-up 5 bids for our project and the quotes were all over the board. Prime Decks (Jake) blew away the competition by a long shot. We appreciated the detailed bid with line items. When we had questions about the bid Jake went above and beyond and returned to our home to discuss adjustments. The digital contract experience was convenient and seamless. Jake provided thorough updates leading up to our scheduled project start date and kept in constant communication throughout the duration of our project. Reynaldo and his crew were polite, timely, and they always cleaned up the site at the end of the day. You can tell that these men take pride in their work. Their precision and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. We’re blown away with our gorgeous deck and we’re raving fans for life! Believe me - you won’t be disappointed with Jake and Prime Decks!

We cannot say enough about how amazing our experience has been working with Nick @ Prime Decks. He brought to life our backyard dream of having a screened in porch, deck, and stamped concrete patio. Nick’s cost proposal was in line with others we received, and he had much more experience and contributed ideas that others hadn’t thought of. This was a larger home project than we had ever done, and it felt comforting to be working with someone who had specific examples to show us that helped us envision what the back of our home would look like. The entire construction process went quickly (less than one month- even with rain delays), and we were kept informed about what to expect every step of the way. Nick was always responsive to our questions, and he kept the process moving along at a very fast pace. The final product is very high quality and looks wonderful! Nick even thought of some new ideas during the process that he implemented without any change to the budget or schedule. His team was always polite and professional, and they took care of the small details that make the space feel perfect. I’ve attached some pictures to show what Nick’s team built (we will landscape once the weather gets cooler). If you want to work with an experienced team who can create high-quality deck/patio/porch spaces quickly and at a very reasonable cost, then we highly recommend working with Nick and Prime Decks!!

We had several projects to do. The electrician was able to get all the projects done in one day. He cleaned the tiny mess created from doing the work and was very efficient. The price was very fair. We will be using them for our next project as well.

Would highly recommend this company for your electrical needs. We had a need to run a 50amp outlet and disconnect box to the back of our house. They walked me through the options (running the wire inside and outside) as well as the pros and cons of each option. They also walked me through some of the regulations that are being considered/adhered to which was appreciated. They were very reasonably priced and he is extremely responsive via phone and text. We had to move their appointment 3 times due to conflicts with scheduling of another contractor that was out of our control and they were very flexible and accommodating on schedule.

It’s been and absolute pleasure working with Johnny and his team. I called him as I noticed his van parked in our Square and needed urgently an estimate about a breaker panel replacement and he was able to come out on very short notice. His estimate was very reasonable compared to another quote I received by a competitor and he made small DIY recommendations that I was able to carry out myself instead of trying to upsell or being pushy. His communication and transparency was spot on and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy contractor.

We hired them to connect our new hot tub to the electrical panel. They were really responsive to our request for work and were kind enough to do the install within a few days of our initial phone call (even though it was right before Thanksgiving!) The tub is working great, and they did an excellent job of running the power lines discreetly under ground and under the tub. Their prices were very reasonable and they were easy to communicate with before and during the job. I highly recommend ID Electric!
